Columbia County Fire

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Columbia County Fire Department web site. Our new department has many different aspects. This web site is designed to highlight our Mission vision and the direction of our duties as we serve the citizens of Columbia County.

Our department currently serves 800 square miles with over 67,000 citizens which includes two heavily traveled interstates that attribute to our name as the "Gateway to Florida". We currently have 37 paid staff and 70 reservists answering over 4500 calls per year out of 9 stations.

This department has risen to great heights in the short time since its conception. I know without the courage, willingness to serve, genuine concern and pride our members have in their department we would not be where we are today.
